weekend.

I went home this weekend and did not really do much. I also made some garlic lemon salmon and glazed carrots for lunch saturday. Then some boxed brownie mix and ate the corners. I also watched sister act 2 (which was amazing, of course) while doing my laundry. and am now just about done with season 2 of mad men.

but the highlight of it all? artichoke joe's. went with ferris, marisol, and jason. it felt awesome to have won... $30 bucks!! (though I could think of it as a net $5 if I take into account the $25 I lost the time before.) nonetheless, it felt great to win money. the thing about artichoke joe's though is that you need to pay $1 for every bet placed. so in order to lower our costs, we go in together each time and take turns paying the $1. playing blackjack, we got blackjack 3 times, which of course meant a bonus $10 to split each time. we also saw an old classmate from serra working there now. what a pathetic of a life he must be living.

and there's nothing like in-and-out to seal the deal.

we chilled at the ol' stompin' grounds beforehand: the marriott in burlingame. free water with tiny black straws and asian cracker mix (with delicious wasabi peas) served to us whilst lounging in their new comfy couches. amazing. then cleansed our hands with kimcare. I took a picture with my phone to show kim, but that's not possible anymore. I dropped my phone in the gutter, which was full of water. my poor blackberry is now sitting in a bag of rice on my desk and is probably already short circuited from having fooled around with it too much.

now i'm working on my applications for post-bacc...

yup, that's my weekend.
