back from the northeast.

sorry! the lack of updates are due to massive cramming for the LSAT, which is in a few days. it's not looking too good and the stress is mounting. at this point, it's looking like wishful thinking to get the score I so desperately need. I don't even know where I'll be applying. and my recommenders have yet to respond to my emails. ahh!

life has been rather uneventful, save for a few dinners here and there.

I got back a few weeks ago from the trip with my family: connecticut, massachusetts, and new york. rather than those hectic sight seeing vacations, this one was rather relaxing. shopping, eating, and strolling. I actually got to show off my style too which is great. my sister, her's as well. rarely are the times I get to dress up, now with all the studying and being indoors so much.

traveling was delayed. we boarded and deboarded one of those planes by american airlines that had failed its safety inspections so we had to wait hours for an open one.

random ny photos:

driving and walking through the city. eating moments of course. included is a trip to juniors, home to the best cheesecake I've ever had. surprisingly  it was even better than I remember. definitely surpassed all expectations. only downside to ny? I didn't get to eat at all the places I wanted! just one of the troubles with traveling in a group -- making group decisions. my dad would get hungry and then we could never go the distances required, just what was around us. and when we were going to go to the four seasons restaurant for my mom's birthday, no jeans were allowed. all we had packed were jeans. fail. but still had good food nonetheless.

then my sister dropped my camera in this soup! definitely floated for a good 4-5 seconds. luckily I semi-revived it and had my sister's camera before sending it in to get repaired.

in all it's delicious glory.

the best chicken and rice cart in nyc. the line speaks for itself. photos courtesy of yelp.

a day at the met:

could've spent all day here. the highlight was the ancient egypt exhibit and we all know how much I love ancient egypt. I truly didn't realize just what a grand experience this was. highly recommended as an essential part of your trip to ny. also walked through central park and saw elisabeth hasselbeck and her family here.

(few pics with the parents because we were separated; my mom was with my dad as he was making business calls.)

soup for a late lunch.

finally in boston!

newbury street:

ice creamn of course.

dinner at joes.

in northampton: more eating. found a place with delicious cajun fries. definitely reminded me of raleigh's in berkeley! had to go to the laundromat to do my sister's sheets before she moved in. and then we ate again. fresh fish was a healthier choice for dinner. and molten chocolate cake was not bad either.

a really good trip overall. thanks.
