shoes and food.

I am clearly very behind with my posts. but I am still making an effort to share the little things that go on in my life. this is not a food blog per se, but my life always seems to revolve around it. and I don't have a problem with that. I love food. it's really love-hate though because it makes me fat. but it tastes so good and feels so good when it goes down! I'm actually hungry right now. lsat class is 6-10 and by the time I get home, it's 11 and too late to eat. the free food at the marriott where they hold the class: donut holes and popcorn. I had both. coffee to drink. depressing. gosh I'm hungry. (people I know in the class besides ferris? lauren s. from st. catherine's and kevin v. from high school. small world!)

I actually kinda love shoes too.

don't know which to get, and don't know whether or not I should be spending more money on shoes. but aren't they awesome? "manny" versus "oliver". which do you like better?

but back to my love of food. started as a mini chorus reunion in san jose, the 10th largest city in the US. and of course a hangout wouldn't be complete unless it involved eating.

cp to the k. last time chilling with annie before she went to south africa for study abroad. elaine works in the area, so she was able to meet up with us. also some quick shopping. annie needed a coat. where else but banana republic. location: valley fair.

water 3 ways. I didn't think it was possible.

free bread! and spreadable butter. yummm.

cobb salad, with bacon.

white pizza.

mushroom pizza. this was pretty amazing.

and a quick pic of the sky while driving back. really amazing. and really dangerous.

still hungry. better sleep soon so I won't eat.

killing two robins with one stomach.

red robin and baskin robins. another post involving food. nothing special.

city: san bruno. a good meeting point. I don't like to really associate myself with this city anymore, though I lived there for part of my life. no offense to anyone who lives there or the crowd. I'd say burlingame is my hometown now. it's just more relateable in all aspects. and I've basically lived here since I was 10. ferris is from belmont, and laura from san francisco. or so they say. I believe 'em.

started with gourmet burgers. conversations about traveling. and ghosts. after hearing about laura's road trip, I definitely want to travel. either fly somewhere far or go on a road trip ourselves. even relocate somewhere, but that's in the far future.

enjoying the world's BEST honey mustard. no doubt.

good ice cream after a heavy meal. nothing out of the ordinary here.

asians. -_-

afterwards: late night lsat studying. leftover chocolate teddy grahams for ferris. so much homework. and it can be so hard. stress-ful. not to mention tiring.

100 logical reasoning questions due wednesday night. better get cracking.

3 sundays back was july 4th weekend.

saturday: laura's birthday get together at chevy's. too many people to take food pictures. lots of chips and salsa. I did have the mole enchiladas. if you know me, you know I do not really like enchiladas with red sauce due to a norovirus I acquired a few years back. but these I could stomach. we of course had the staff rush her with a sombrero, even against her wishes. very fun! and then a sundae to pass around the table of 11.

sunday: julie's bbq. a day of grilling and chilling. (helping man the grill of course.)

no swimming for me...I'm sure you know why.

addicting spinach dip with bread and veggies. ate all the bread first, and then resorted to veggies to eat more dip. definitely preferred the celery. helped burn some calories!

(narcissistic me: I like my hair in this pic)

matching:

lookin' good michelle! I like this pic.

actually I like this one better.

festive krispy kremes. now it's a party. sooo good.

mrs. myhre's layered dip. so good warm! (I want this now.)

lianne and her vegan "crisp".

grillin'.

good food. good friends. good times.
